FAQs - Jio MAMI 22nd Mumbai Film Festival
A note on the festival and the COVID-19 situation
For 22 years, Jio MAMI’s mission has been to galvanise the industry, curate the best Indian and international cinema and bring them to the widest possible audience. That remains unchanged. However, the ecosystem has significantly altered due to COVID-19 for everyone including filmmakers, our audience, our partners and sponsors. The festival has adapted to this changed and changing reality and also put into motion changes that felt necessary and urgent after deep reflection that this period of hiatus brought about. We have reshaped the structure, awards, sections and nature of the festival keeping in mind our various stakeholders, the challenges that the pandemic has raised (especially in India) and the natural course of evolution for any institution. Read on to know more about Jio MAMI 2.0.
*Please note that due to exceptional circumstances the following are subject to change and will be updated according to the evolving situation around the COVID-19 pandemic.
When will the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival take place?

The hybrid edition of the festival will take place in March depending on how the COVID-19 situation is in India. The tentative dates of the festival are 11th March to 15th March 2022.
